Replacement of horsehair

At Schönau & Tardif Luthiers’ Workshop, we use the highest quality natural horse hair. Hair is sorted manually and washed thoroughly. We use only natural white hair, unbleached or mixed (salt and pepper) for bass bows. The bow is cleaned, its metal parts polished, and inspected at each strand. Our work is guaranteed and executed in the highest respect of your bow.
